This is very likely no longer true. synk's zealous hatred of otaku and many other members of the fandom has critically damaged his following of the medium, and he assumes many other BOBs have sped past him in knowledge of what is new and relevant in the anime world.
Contrary to popular belief, synk is not obsessed with Asuka from Neon Genesis Evangelion. He is factually dating her, hence why her visage can be seen in most things related to the sensibleBOB.

There's a very good chance that synk hates everyone.
This one time, synk was walking down the street, when all of a sudden a bear attacks him. And the bear was ON FIRE. So synk battled the bear and defeated it using his humongous cache of anime wallpapers, AMVs, and OSTs. And then he found out that the bear was his father. But he did not have long to reflect on this, for he saw his archnemesis, Truck! He charged Truck, and Truck charged him. He was flattened, of course, because it was an 18-ton truck, for God's sake. When he woke up, he was on ClanBOB. And that is how he came to be a member.
