A Wookie is an Internet user who not only craves attention, but does not follow current topics in threads or in the IRC. Wookies pretty much talk only about themselves or people they know, and are generally very boring and whiny.

Inferno came up with the term "Wookie" to describe this behaviour since the previous term, "cuddle whore", took too much effort to type. That, and it allowed cuddle whores to be yelled at in an interesting way: "URRAAAAAUGH Urrrrrrrrrrrragh!!!" This pleases most BOBs who, in general, do not like whiny cuddle whores.
