Planet-BOB is the community's portal page, the foundation for us to spread beyond merely an Internet bulletin board and IRC channel.
Originally, this was proposed by synkr0nized (and then supported by many others) to be a central hub for activities, artwork, writings, musings, and events or news for the BOB community (Please see MemberContentSite for the old notes and ideas about what was being planned; the original threads are probably gone now). However, due to issues regarding Drupal, the platform used to build the site, and the scope of the project, the site was taken down and born-anew.
In its current form, Planet-BOB hosts some of the members' comics and links directly to other members' comics that are hosted elsewhere (such as the fine fellas at Anti-Pants Comics). esunasoul spearheaded the reworking of the site.
Future plans may expand from this starting point.
