The forums are the where most of the day-to-day activity of ClanBOB happens. From the utterly inane to the most dreadfully serious, it can all happen here. A lot of it is either about politics, guns or buttsex, though.

Many believe that thread necromancy is a terrible practice on the forums. It is also considered poor form to post links to other forums. Simple advertisements for things off-site is against the moderation policy. Finally, please keep the forums clean, and try not to post too many things in the wrong forum. If it's about video games, put it there. Cars in the Tech / Geek section. Etc.
Also, remember: the mods are in control. What they say goes. At least in the forums.
As the EZBoard service degraded, it was decided that maintaining the forums' Gold status -- members and mods making donations to avoid advertisements between posts -- was no longer worthwhile. This prompted discussions of alternatives and Mercan01 to offer his own server for hosting. A phpBB structure was set up, which started to attract traffic while it was in beta with esunasoul adding modifications and testing features.
After much wrangling, the old forum structure, of Announcements, General Discussion, Life of Riley/Dreams in Digital, Conventions, Art Stuff, Anime/Japanimation/Manga, Role Playing, Games -- Console, Games -- PC, Movies, Tech/Geek stuff, Music, Authors, Books and the Admin Archive, was simplified to the structure above. The move from EZBoards was completed at the end of July 2006, tumbleweeds left to roll through the BOBs' old haunt, as in their predecessors'.
Recently older BOBs disgusted with the current life of ClanBOB returned to the old forum to try and reignite life there. Currently Leon is the only active member of that forum with Rip stopping by every so often to insult the self ExiledBOB.
