Dreams in Digital (sometimes abbreviated to DiD) initially appeared as Life of Riley episodes, produced primarily by Aaron and running in between strips featuring the main story. They began with modified sprites, generally from old 8-bit video games, put in humorous, often BOB-related, situations, before developing into captioned stills from Final Fantasy online play.

Subsequently, the DiD name was carried over into a new leaderBOB project, machinima using the World of Warcraft engine. As the first episode demonstrates, the newer DiD shares some character names with LoR.
